This puzzle looks simple until you realize the board is not your enemy, your holes are. Gummy Blocks Puzzle is a block-placement game where you drag shapes from a tray into a grid. Completed lines clear and give you space, but bad placements create gaps that no future piece can fix. Controls Desktop: Drag pieces into the grid with the mouse Mobile: Tap and drag pieces into the grid, use undo or hint buttons if shown A strong board has structure Aim to maintain two clean “shelves”: - A mostly flat bottom section where pieces can sit cleanly - A mostly open middle where awkward shapes can be rotated into place by planning Avoid building tall spikes. Spikes create one-cell holes, and one-cell holes are how games end. Play the tray like a hand of cards Before placing anything, check all three pieces and decide: - Which one is hardest to place - Which placement sets up a line clear - Which placement preserves flexible pockets Place the hardest piece first while you still have options. Corner strategy that works Corners are useful storage, but only for shapes that fit them cleanly. Do not dump random blocks into corners. If a corner becomes jagged, it stays jagged. Line-clear habits - Prefer moves that clear two lines with one piece - If you can clear one line now or set up two lines for the next move, setting up two is usually better Common mistakes - Saving big pieces too long, then having nowhere to put them - Filling the center with fragments early - Chasing points with flashy clears that leave ugly holes Quick drill Do one game where you refuse to create any one-cell hole on purpose.
