Zombies Vs. Sunflowers is a lane-defense “hold the line” game: enemies march in waves, and you build a simple plant wall that earns energy, shoots, slows, and stalls until the timer runs out. It looks cute, but the pressure is real — one weak lane is all it takes for the whole defense to collapse. Controls Desktop: Click a unit card, then click a lane tile to place it. Use shovel or remove tools if available. Mobile: Tap the card, tap the tile. Dragging is sometimes used for fast placement. How to win the early game Economy first: Your first placements should increase energy generation. If you skip this, you feel “okay” for 20 seconds and then you’re broke when the real wave arrives. Build by lane roles: Pick one lane to be your “anchor lane” with an extra blocker, then mirror your basic shooters across the others. Save a panic button: If the game has a big burst plant or bomb-style unit, don’t spend it on the first scary zombie. Save it for a stacked wave or a fast runner. Most common failure Over-planting too early. A cluttered front line blocks your own upgrades and leaves no space to react when a new enemy type appears.
