This is the kind of motocross game where the track beats you with rhythm sections, not enemy racers. Super Motocross is about throttle control, clean landings, and using body lean so the bike stays stable over whoops and jumps. Controls Desktop: Accelerate with W/Up Arrow; Brake with S/Down Arrow; Lean with A/D or Left/Right Arrow Mobile: Tap Gas/Brake pedals; Use Lean buttons or Tilt (depending on version) The trick most players miss: landing angle is the timer You don’t lose time because you aren’t fast—you lose time because you land wrong and bounce. Try to land on downslope faces whenever possible. In my runs, the biggest time gains came from “quiet landings” that kept both wheels planted. Rhythm section approach Treat whoops like a pattern: - Slightly ease off gas before the first bump - Keep the bike low and stable with small lean adjustments - Avoid sudden full-throttle bursts that kick the nose up and cause a wipeout Jump control that prevents crashes - Enter jumps straight - Roll off throttle right at the lip on big ramps - If you’re tipping forward, lean back slightly before landing; if you’re tipping up, lean forward earlier Mistakes that cause most wipeouts - Holding gas through the lip of a large jump - Correcting in mid-air with huge lean swings - Braking late inside a bumpy corner One clean practice run Do one race where the goal is “no big air.” Use safer lines and smaller jumps. You’ll learn the track’s flow and get faster later without extra risk.
