Slime Smile is a squishy puzzle-platformer where your blob can change how it behaves—stretching, splitting, and recombining to solve switches, gaps, and “two-place-at-once” puzzles. It’s less about speed and more about using the right form at the right moment. Controls Desktop: Move with A/D or Arrow Keys; Jump with Space/W; Split/Merge with a dedicated key (shown in-game); Interact with E (if used) Mobile: On-screen Left/Right + Jump; Tap Split/Merge icons; Tap Interact when near levers/doors How levels are usually designed Most stages teach one trick, then test it immediately: - a heavy plate that needs a big slime body - a narrow tunnel that forces a small slime - a lever that requires one slime to hold it while the other travels Game-specific strategy: park one slime “safe” When you split, don’t move both at once. Park one piece on a safe ledge first, then solve with the other. This prevents the classic loss where both pieces end up in danger and you can’t recover. Switch logic that saves time Press the heavy switch with a merged slime, open the route, then split again to slip through tight spaces. Merge is your strength; split is your precision. Common mistakes - Splitting without a clear reason (it creates extra ways to fail) - Dragging both slimes into the same risky jump - Forgetting you can merge to stabilize after a shaky landing If the controls feel inconsistent Use full screen, keep zoom at 100%, and reduce extra “squish” effects if they make animations harder to read.
