It’s construction equipment with a bad attitude: instead of digging carefully, you’re swatting debris and brawling enemy machines with a punch-capable excavator. Punching Excavator: Breakdown! is about spacing, target priority, and using big hits at the right time—not ramming everything and hoping your health holds. Controls Desktop: Keyboard for movement, mouse/keys for arm actions (varies by version) Mobile: Virtual joystick to move, attack and ability buttons What you do - Drive an excavator through action stages - Punch debris and enemy bots to clear the zone - Avoid taking too many hits and protect your integrity/health - Use specials to break clusters or big barriers Priority targeting wins fights If enemies include ranged attackers: - hit them first Ranged threats drain your health while you’re busy punching walls. Clear them, then clean up the slower melee units. Punch debris, don’t body-check it Ramming costs you positioning and often causes messy collisions. Better: - use arm punches to knock debris away from your path - clear one side so you have a safe escape lane Treat the excavator like a fighter: keep space, don’t get pinned. Step-back rhythm (prevents being surrounded) After a short combo: - back up - re-center - re-enter from a better angle Staying in one spot invites enemies to circle you and trap your movement. Save big specials for real value Use heavy abilities when: - enemies cluster - a large barricade blocks progress - you need breathing room to escape Using specials on single weak targets wastes the cooldown. Common mistakes - chasing one enemy while ranged units shred you - ramming debris and getting stuck - standing still and getting surrounded - wasting specials on low-value moments Mini drill Play one stage where you always eliminate ranged enemies first and you always back up after each combo. The fight becomes dramatically safer. FAQ Why do I lose health so fast? You’re ignoring ranged threats or staying surrounded. Clear ranged units first and step back often. How do I clear debris safely? Punch it aside and keep an escape lane open. When should I use specials? On clusters, big barriers, or to create space—never “just because.”
