This is map logic and resource timing, not flashy combat. The War2727 is a simplified strategy game with abstract units and neutral factions, where winning comes from controlling key points, defending choke routes, and choosing upgrades that fit one clear plan. Controls Desktop: Click tiles/territories, drag or click to move units, click recruit/upgrade buttons, End Turn button Mobile: Tap provinces/tiles, tap destinations to move, pinch to zoom, tap recruit/upgrade/end turn What you do - Capture territory and resource nodes - Recruit units and improve structures/tech - Hold important routes while pushing into weak areas - Win scenarios by meeting control or objective goals Choke points are worth more than borders Instead of defending every edge: - identify 1–2 narrow routes the enemy must pass - fortify those This concentrates your strength and stops you from spreading units too thin. Build a “hold line” and a “push stack” Good armies often split into: - cheap defenders on safe back lines - one strong group for breakthroughs If you upgrade everything everywhere, you never have a decisive force. Spend resources with a purpose Don’t buy every upgrade because it’s available. Pick a direction: - economy first (more income) if the scenario is long - military first (stronger units) if the scenario is short and aggressive Mixing without a plan leaves you average at everything. Respect movement ranges Many losses come from stepping forward one tile too far. Before ending a turn, check: - can the enemy reach and counterattack this stack? - is your retreat route safe if you get pushed back? Common mistakes - defending every border and losing the center - building expensive units too early and running out of coverage - pushing without securing supply/resource points - ignoring enemy movement and getting punished next turn Mini drill Play one scenario where you only expand toward resource nodes and choke points—ignore empty land unless it improves your line. You’ll feel how control wins games. FAQ Why do I keep losing territory quickly? You’re spread too thin. Fortify choke points and keep a main stack. Should I upgrade units or economy first? Economy for longer maps, unit power for short aggressive maps. How do I avoid surprise counterattacks? Always end turns outside enemy movement range or behind a defended choke.
