Description

The desert doesn’t beat you with enemies—it beats you with boredom, overconfidence, and one missed fuel check. This browser road-trip sim is about keeping a battered car alive across long empty roads by scavenging supplies, watching gauges, and driving like your vehicle can flip at any moment. It is not connected to the standalone PC game with the same title. Controls Desktop: Drive with WASD or Arrow Keys, interact with E/F Mobile: On-screen steering and pedals, tap icons to interact What you do - Drive forward through open desert roads - Stop at roadside locations to scavenge fuel and parts - Manage basic condition so you don’t stall, flip, or run dry - Push your distance record as far as you can The stop routine that creates long runs Before you leave any stop, do this every time: 1) Check fuel and top up, even if it’s not empty 2) Check basic condition (wheels, obvious damage, any missing parts) 3) Grab a backup item if the game offers one (spare wheel, small repair, extra fuel) This routine is boring, but it’s how runs stop ending “randomly.” Drive like stability is the objective Most crashes come from late corrections: - slow down before hills and dips, not after you start bouncing - steer with small inputs, especially at speed - avoid the shoulder when the terrain looks uneven If the car starts to wobble, ease off throttle first. Strong steering usually flips you. Scavenging priorities that matter When loot is limited: - fuel first - coolant/repair items second (if your version uses them) - spare wheel or tool third Cosmetic or low-value pickups can wait. Survival upgrades the run more than “nice-to-have” items. When to stop again If you’re thinking “I can make it,” that’s usually the moment to stop. A good rule: - if you pass a station and your fuel isn’t near full, stop anyway Fuel security is what lets you take risks later without ending the run. Common mistakes - leaving a stop without checking fuel - speeding over hills and rolling the car - driving while distracted by loot or UI - ignoring small damage until it becomes a breakdown Mini drill Do one run where you limit speed on hills and always refuel at every stop. You’ll notice your distance jumps without needing perfect driving. FAQ Why do I suddenly lose a run? Usually fuel, rollover, or a small damage issue you ignored. Use the stop routine and slow on hills. What should I collect first? Fuel and anything that keeps the car functional. Is going fast worth it? Only on flat, safe road. Most distance records come from consistency, not speed.
